Istri Donald Trump Jiplak Pidato Michelle Obama
REINHA.com – Pada Konvensi Partai Republik di Ohio, istri dari calon presiden Amerika Serikat, Donald Trump, Melania Trump, memberikan pidato kepada para pendukung Trump. Namun Melania menerima banyak kecaman karena kalimat pada pidatonya dianggap menjiplak pidato Michelle Obama pada Konvensi Partai Demokrat di tahun 2008.
Pada pidatonya, Melania berbicara tentang bagaimana orang tuanya membesarkannya dengan memberikan nilai-nilai kehidupan yang penting. Kalimat yang diucapkan Melania saat mengungkapkan hal ini, persis sama dengan yang pernah diucapkan oleh istri dari Barrack Obama di pidatonya 8 tahun silam.
“My parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life. That your work is your bond, and you do what you say and keep your promise. That you treat people with respect” ucap Melania dalam pidatonya.
“Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values: that you work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond and you do what you say you’re going to do; that you treat people with dignity and respect, even if you don’t know them, and even if you don’t agree with them” ucap Michelle dalam pidatonya.
“Pass those lessons on to the many generations to follow, because we want our children in this nation to know that the only limit to your achievements is the strength of your dreams and the willingness to work for them” ucap Melania dalam pidatonya.
“We want our children — and all children in this nation — to know that the only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them” ucap Michelle dalam pidatonya.
Seperti dilansir NBC News, 19 Juli 2016, tidak jelas apa yang membuat kedua pidato tersebut memiliki kesamaan yang mencolok. Namun Melania mengatakan kepada TODAY bahwa sebagian besar pidatonya ia tulis sendiri dengan sedikit bantuan orang lain. (rsn-reinha)
