Dengue is mosquito viral infection found in tropical and sub tropical climates. Dengue fever is transmitted by the bite of an Aedes mosquito infected with a dengue virus. The mosquito becomes infected when it bites a person with dengue virus in their blood. The symptoms are high fever, headaches, fatigue, nausea, and pain behind the eyes. The infection can develop into a potentially fatal form called Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever.

Many health experts sugest papaya leaf juice as an effective remedy to treat dengue fever. There are two ways to use papaya leaves to cure this disease.

  1. Take dry papaya leaves, wash it properly and then cut it in pieces. Boil it about 5 to 10 minutes with 2 liters of water. When you boild it do not cover saucepan until the water is reduced by half, strain the liquid. Add this leave in a glass or a bottle. Consume this juice 2 to 3 times.
  2. Acording the guidelines of using papaya leaf, we can make the papaya leaf extract.

With fresh papaya leaves, wash it and chop the leaves into small pieces. Weigh 50 gram of papaya leaves and put it in mortar and pestle. And then add 50 ml of cool water and 25 gram of sugar. Pound the above mixture well for 15 minutes till a uniform pulp is made. Mix the pulp well and keep for about 30 mminutes. Squeeze the pulp using your hand and get the leaf extract. You can store this preparation for 24 hours in the refrigerator.
